DSU Toscana gives off-campus students €3,338 in cash plus a free room and two free meals a day (valued at €3,150 and €1,760) with an ISEE up to €13,500, and accepts an ISEE up to €27,000 and an ISPE up to €60,000, according to its official 2026/27 call (PDF dated 16 July 2026) read on 31 October 2026. DSU Toscana calculates the economic situation itself from the documents you upload: family composition, income, buildings with their area and savings, issued by the authorities of your country, legalised and translated into Italian, by the application deadline. It does not accept self-declarations.
Family in a particularly poor country (such as Bangladesh or Nepal)? The DSU Toscana call asks for a certificate from the Italian embassy stating that you do not belong to a well-known high-income family (see the quote above). How the indicator is calculated: ISEE parificato.

The visa is separate
